Matthew Downing - Online Memorial Website

Matt will truly be missed. He shared his knowledge and passion with my son, Julian, and I will be forever grateful. May the family find comfort in knowing that this young man touched the lives of persons of all walks of life and carried that smile always.

I've just heard of his passing. I was a real close friend of Randy and Matt. We will miss his laugh and humor. He was an awsome man and a wonderful friend. He came to my sister's funeral last October. I hope his family is okay and may God bless them. Love you Matt, you where much like a brother to me.

I was very sorry to hear of Matts passing.I havent seen matt for about a year but he was a great guy and a good friend. I just found out about his passing today. sorry I

was not there for the funeral. The world has lost a great person and he will be greatly missed.

Krystle and i were shocked to hear  about your loss, please accept our condolences.  We will miss him coming into the station, always with something cheerful to say. I think nearly everyone at some time or another bought a vechicle from him!      I was so sad to hear of the passing of Matt.  He always had a smile on his face and made me laugh.  I had some good heart to heart talks w/Matt about struggles I had with my son.  Matt had a big heart.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.  I know that Matt will be truly missed.  May God bring you Peace in this difficult time.

I am really going to miss seeing you at work everyday and I will miss all of our "philisophical" discussions and your loud and obnoxious jokes!   You touched so many people and you will never be forgotten.  God must've needed another hero to call upon and he couldn't have picked a better one.

From day one, Matt made me feel like a member of his family. I loved him as my own Uncle and I know how special a man he was. Our memories of him will never fade and just knowing how much he was loved in our community will always bring honor to the name Matt Downing and the Downing Family. Matt seemed to live each day as if it were his last and because of that he was able to touch so many lives. He will be so greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are that we can move forward with more of that selfless love that Matt had so that he will live on through each of us.  Thank you Matt for teaching me more about the true meaning of life!

I was devastated to hear of Matt's passing.  He was an awesome friend and

advisor to me when I needed it most.  I'll always remember his laughter,

kindness and generosity to everyone he knew.  I'm so sorry I couldn't be

there to share my sorrow with his loved ones and friends.  Matt--you meant

more to me than you will ever know and I am eternally grateful that you

were a part of my life.
